Alma Gemela Bonarda 2022 - a 100% Bonarda from 560m above sea level in the Mendoza region of Argentina. Completely hand harvested and created with indigenous yeast. It is expressive, succulent & dark-fruit driven with a bright acidity, fine tannins & medium body.
Ecker-Eckhof Zweigelt Brilliant 2023 - Made by the Ecker family in the Wagram region of Austria, where they have been producing wines for over 400 years. It is an intense ruby red colour, with dark berry and cherry aromas. Spicy on the palate and with dense body.
Georgiev & Milkov Novi Izvor Mavrud 2021 - An interesting wine from Bulgaria. Deep ruby red in colour with crimson hues. A nose of red & black fruit notes, combined with sweet vanilla and roasted nuts. Medium to full bodied on the palate with great balance, well integrated ripe tannins and intense notes of blueberries, red-currants, dried herbs and spices.
Maison Sichel 1883 AOC Bordeaux 2023 - Produced as a tribute to Maison Sichel's founding year, the 1883 is a modern, fruit-forward take on a Bordeaux wine. Made from 100% merlot and with no added sulphites, the balance and expression of fresh fruit reflects all the elegance of the Merlot grape variety, easy to drink, supple and greedy.
Vicentino Sunset Red 2020 - A wine representing the fusion between the warm Alentejo plains and the freshness of the Costa Vicentina in Portugal. Intense aromas of red and mature fruit. An Atlantic breeze gives this wine fresh acidity, whilst the use of barrels softens the tannins. A round and light wine that fills your palate.
Paco Garcia Pucheros Barro 2018 - A special & very different Spanish wine, being aged for 10 months in clay pots rather than barrels, this gets the micro-oxygenation without the interaction of contributions that wood gives. A young cherry red colour. High intensity on the nose with red and jam fruit, particularly cherry and raspberry. Rounded and savoury in the mouth with strawberry lactic notes. It is very pleasant with unpolished tannins.
