Description
A rich and oxidative wine made with 60% skin contact and barrel matured Pinot Gris and 40% Madeleine Angevine matured in stainless steel. After one year the wines were blended where they matured for a further 24 months in old French oak barrels. The resulting wine has baked apple, bruised apricot and nutty characteristics with good weight, balance and grip.

Sandridge Barton
Sandridge Barton (formerly Sharpham Wines) has been growing grapes and crafting wines in the South Hams area of Devon since 1981. With 32 acres of vineyards rolling down towards the River Dart, they harvest over 80 tonnes of fruit each year from their vines which thrive in the south-facing slopes, where Devon’s mild climate and rich soils help to produce wines full of character and precision.
