German Wine Tasting
17 July, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: plymouth
Join us for this unique opportunity to explore the diverse world of German wines!
Germany is most commonly known for their Riesling and Pinot Noir, with these grape varieties accounting for around 35% of the country's grape production. The remaining 65% of grapes grown are much lesser known varieties, which contribute immensely to the uniqueness of what the country produces, and are what makes it so special.
Moderate summer temperatures produce wines that are relatively low in alcohol, and the diversity of German wine stems from the many soil types and grape varieties found throughout Germany’s 13 wine-growing regions.
During this wine tasting we'll guide you through 6 different German wines, whilst talking about the different regions, production techniques and labelling terminology - you'll discover there's a whole lot more to German wine than you thought.
Tickets £20
