France vs. England Sparkling Wine Tasting
23 May, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: plymouth
Join us for a comparative tasting of sparkling wines from two of the best fizz producing countries in the world - France and England.
With France being home to the Champagne region, some may think it is going to be an unfair battle, but England's sparkling wines are now some of the best in the world.
Both countries have favourable soils and climates for growing the grapes used to make sparkling wines. France has years of experience and tradition behind it, but England has recent investment and a crop of talented young winemakers doing great things.
What could be better than putting these two countries head to head - come and taste for yourself how they compare and how different terroirs can make exceptional wines.
Tickets £30 per person
A polite notice - as some of our events are very popular and we have limited space, on occasions we may seat different groups together so please be prepared to share your table with other like-minded wine lovers.
