A Tribute to the 'Judgement of Paris'
22 May, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: bristol
The 'Judgement of Paris' was an iconic tasting event created in 1976 by the late Steven Spurrier - a well regarded British wine expert. The event was a head to head blind tasting of French and Californian wines, graded by a panel of French judges.
Come and join us for our very own light-hearted 'Judgement of Paris', where we'll be enjoying a blind tasting comparing premium Old World and New World wines, assessing and rating wines made from the same grape varieties but from different regions of the world. Each participant will be on our 'panel of judges', compiling notes and scores, until we have collectively reached a verdict. The results in 1976 were a shock to France with California coming out on top, we can't wait to see what 2024 brings!
