A Tasting with English Winemakers

Join us for an evening celebrating exceptional local wines just ahead of English Wine Week 2026.

English wine is enjoying a remarkable rise in popularity, with the country increasingly recognised as an outstanding wine-producing region. Today there are more than 400 vineyards across England, producing over 3 million bottles each year.

For this special event, we’re delighted to welcome winemakers from Sandridge Barton Wines, Knightor and Black Chalk Vineyard. Each will host a tasting of their wines and, behind the scenes, compete to see whose bottle becomes the favourite of the night.

From experimental blends to the latest vintages, you’ll have the chance to taste a range of exciting wines while hearing the stories and passion behind them directly from the people who make them.

This tasting is always extremely popular, so early booking is strongly recommended.

A polite notice - as some of our events are very popular and we have limited space, on occasions we may seat different groups together so please be prepared to share your table with other like-minded wine lovers.
