Spices & Senses Wine Tasting
Wine tasting is an inexact science - an expression of taste shaped by knowledge and experience. Our senses are not instruments of measure, and when you taste a wine you’re never seeking a single flavour but a series of unfolding impressions.
During this unique wine & flavours tasting, we’ll return to the roots of the four big flavours - pepper, ginger, vanilla, and cinnamon, exploring how these familiar spices reveal themselves in the glass. Some are easier to identify than others, but all offer a pathway into understanding how specific flavours, spices, and senses pair with different wines.
The tasting will include a guided tasting of carefully selected wines, accompanied by complementary food samples, allowing you to explore these flavour connections firsthand.
This foundational experience doesn’t end at the tasting table, it can translate directly into your food choices, helping you better match spices, dishes, and wines in everyday life. Come discover how perception, flavour, and intuition intertwine - one sip at a time.
A polite notice - as some of our events are very popular and we have limited space, on occasions we may seat different groups together so please be prepared to share your table with other like-minded wine lovers.
